Project Overview

Delivery of multi-disciplinary maintenance and infrastructure works for Vishay, carried out within a live industrial production environment. The scope combines ongoing maintenance services with execution of complex in-plant projects, including a wastewater treatment facility (WWTP) and associated system integration.

Preparation

Ongoing maintenance planning and coordination ensured continuous operation of critical systems, including piping, structural steel, and safety infrastructure. 

For project works, detailed engineering and site assessments were conducted to define system integration within existing plant infrastructure. This included re-measurements and design adjustments to address discrepancies between design and real site conditions. 

Early-stage planning enabled identification of risks and constraints, allowing proactive development of engineering solutions prior to execution.

Installation

Execution included a combination of maintenance activities and capital project delivery within an active facility. Works covered civil construction, structural steel installation, piping systems, and full integration with existing plant infrastructure. 

Key activities included demolition and site preparation, construction of reinforced concrete foundations and containment systems, installation of pipe racks, and integration of mechanical and electrical systems. 

All works were carefully coordinated to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing production, with adaptive solutions implemented to resolve interface challenges between new and existing systems.

Commissioning

Systems were tested, integrated, and commissioned to ensure full operational performance within the existing production environment. 

This included final connection of plant systems and validation of wastewater treatment processes, ensuring seamless integration with operational infrastructure and compliance with performance requirements.
